Local view: Hockey is a game ... and so much more

NHL hockey has finally returned after what seemed like a million-year lockout. It was only 119 days, but they were 119 very long and hockey-less days. Fans are miffed about the lockout, but not so miffed they won’t watch games on TV or buy tickets to go watch live. It seems our love of the game supersedes our desire to make players and coaches accountable for their greed.
