Local view: Answers to America’s problems lie in the Bible

Can you imagine if it was your son or daughter, your sister or brother, or your classmate who was gunned down while sitting in class or while working in school? The grief and anguish would be unbearable. As removed as we were in the Northland from the tragedy in far-off Newtown, Conn., my wife and I watched the news coverage with tears in our eyes.
