Life is good on 'Lake of the Walleyes'

In the darkness just before dawn, a ribbon of red taillights hovered over the frozen skin of Lake of the Woods. Like city commuters easing onto freeways, vehicles funneled onto ice roads in pickups and Suburbans and hefty tracked vehicles.
