Reader's view: Last Place on Earth is bad for Duluth’s downtown

I am a former supporter of the Last Place on Earth and its owner Jim Carlson. I supported Carlson and considered him an anti-establishment sort of hero. Now it is clear the Last Place on Earth is bad for Duluth’s downtown economy and, worse, it’s bad for human beings.
