Reader's view: Why do we allow gun zealots to bully us?

On Dec. 16 the News Tribune, on its front page, asked “Why?” after the slaughter of children and teachers at Sandy Hook Elementary School. But “why?” is the wrong question following these all-too-common tragedies.
