Coast Guard, tugs breaking ice in Duluth-Superior harbor

The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Alder and several local tugs are breaking ice in the Duluth-Superior harbor to help Great Lakes freighters move taconite, coal and other cargo until the Jan. 16 closing of the shipping season.
