News Tribune, Dec. 10, 1972 The Fund for Animals Inc. announced yesterday it will oppose the Interior Department and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources plan to allow hunting and trapping of timber wolves. The wolf presently is protected only in the Superior National Forest.
