William R. Stephenson

William R. Stephenson Jr., 75, died at home Sunday May 14, 2006. He was born and raised in Duluth. Bill graduated from Taft Prep School and attended Stanford University. Bill was a realtor, and became the third generation owner of the Stephenson company. He was an avid bird hunter, tennis player, and loved golf. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Sr. And Mabel. Bill is survived by his wife, Julia; two sons, Jim, and Bradley (Ali) Stephenson; two daughters, Mary Liz (Steve) Gale and Jennifer Stephenson; two granddaughters, Erica and Anna Gale; and a sister, Catherine 'Kitty' Hurst. MEMORIAL SERVICE:2 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2006, in the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Avenue, Duluth Minnesota. Services entrusted to Cremation Society of Minnesota, (218) 624-5200.
