Mickey and Shirley Martens 50th wedding anniversary

Mickey and Shirley Martens of Duluth will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1-4 p.m. Nov. 16 in Spirit Valley Senior Center, 5830 Grand Ave. No gifts please.

Mickey and the former Shirley Polson were married Nov. 15, 1958, in Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Duluth.

Their children are Krista and John Mogck of Coon Rapids, Minn. They have two granddaughters.

Mickey retired from the city of Duluth Water and Gas Department. Shirley retired from the Radisson hotel and is a homemaker.
