Patrick and Marijo Duffy of Island Lake celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Patrick and Marijo Duffy of Island Lake celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Patrick and the former Marijo Kanesky were married Oct. 26, 1968, in Duluth.

Their children are Tammie and Jay Polley of Barnum and Tim and Lisa Duffy of Bemidji. They have two grandchildren.

Patrick is retired from the Duluth Transit Authority. Marijo is retired from Independent School District 709.
