Eugene and Sharon Soderberg 50th wedding anniversary

Eugene and Sharon Soderberg of Duluth celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends.

Eugene and the former Sharon Halverson were married Oct. 4, 1958, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Duluth.

Their children are Gene and Teresa Soderberg of New Trier, Minn.; Renee Tarara, and Carlean and Jeffery Kroells, all of Belle Plaine, Minn.; Terry and Sandy Soderberg of Painesville, Minn.; Nadine and Tim Sack of Welsh, Minn.; and Sherri and Nolan Enzminger of Plymouth, Minn. They have 16 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Their family says they’ve been blessed and they wish them many more years together!

Secret to staying married: The longevity of the marriage is due to a great sense of humor, family, friends and their faith.
