MY PARENTS ARE: Gregg and Shawna Velander of Duluth.

MY SIBLINGS ARE: Taylor, 15; Samantha, 12; Austin, 10; and Beau, 6.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Nancy O’Brien of Anoka, Minn; Dennis and Kathy Velander of Duluth; and the late John Schwitzky.

PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: Dream big. Live large. And achieve lots!

SOMETHING SPECIAL: I was born on Thanksgiving Day! I knew I was going to complete our family so I made sure the day was not only lively and dramatic, but very scary so we all could remember it.
