MARK RICHARD FREDRICKS

Mark Richard Fredricks, 41, passed away peacefully in his sleep after struggling with a lengthy illness on Wednesday, Feb. 13.

He was born Nov. 16, 1971 in Duluth, to Richard and Patricia (Maeckelbergh) Fredricks.

He was a 1990 graduate of Marshall School. He later went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree from Brown College. Mark truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with his two precious children Brett and Monica, hanging out with friends, fishing off the dock in Cotton (never did find that walleye) and of course watching the Vikings.

He is survived by his parents, Rich and Pat; children, Brett and Monica; sister Susan (Jeff) Kolehmainen; and nephews Jacob, Logan and Seth.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: 11 a.m. Monday in Holy Family Catholic Church in Duluth with visitation at 10 a.m. Family, friends, and others whose lives Mark touched, are invited to celebrate Mark's life, to reminisce, grieve, and support each other. In lieu of flowers, donations in care of the family, are welcomed to donate to a college fund that is being established for his children. Arrangements by Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home.
