What flood?
The big Duluth flood hit two days before our wedding. I was out with girlfriends the night of the flood and became stranded from my parents neighborhood in Morgan Park. Dave was stranded in Morgan Park with my parents. No one could get anywhere to complete last minute wedding errands and arrangements.
Friends and family planning to come to town for the wedding saw our flood on the news and were worried about making the trip. Some even thought we would be postponing the wedding. But, what a difference a day can make! The day of our wedding was beautiful - sunny, mild, and picture perfect!
