I WAS BORN: May 30, 2012, in Essentia Health–St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth.

MY PARENTS ARE: Kent and Wanda Paulsen of Lake Neb­agamon.

MY SIBLINGS ARE: Kole, 9; Kayla, 7; Kade, 3; and the late Kassidy.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Conrad and Sandy Johnson of Lake Neb­agamon; Ron and Rebecca Sullivan of Map­le; and Bruce and Jody Paulsen of Cushing, Wis.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Bette Pearson of Poplar and Betty Bohn of Luck, Wis.

MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: Kian is a unique name they loved to fit in with the rest of my “K” named siblings. Dean is after my great-grandpa Pearson. My initials, K.D.P., are just like Daddy and my brothers.
