The future bride, a 2003 graduate of Superior High School, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is a training associate at Comprehensive Clinical Development in Tacoma, Wash.
The future groom graduated from Chamberlain High School in Tampa in 2000. He is a member of the U.S. Coast Guard, which he joined in 2001.
Waterfall of tears
I gave Marcos a tour of Pattison Park when we first met. Two years later, we went to Pattison Park to celebrate him coming home after being on the Great Lakes for six weeks.
He took out the ring after walking over to the waterfall lookout and got down on his knee and said his beautiful speech. I said ‘Yes’ right away and couldn’t stop crying tears of happiness for a long time.
My parents and grandparents already knew because he wrote them letters while he was on the lake to ask permission. We look forward to sharing our day with family and friends in August.
