I WAS BORN: March 11, 2012, in St. Luke’s hospital in Duluth.

MY PARENTS ARE: Scott and Dana Varland of Duluth.

MY BROTHER IS: Mathias, 4.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: David and Mardelle Vosbeck of Sleepy Eye, Minn., and Kenneth and Carolyn Varland of New Ulm, Minn.

MY GREAT-GRANDMOTHER IS: Lois Varland of Rad­cliffe, Iowa.

MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: It reflects our Norwegian and Danish heritages and it fits well with my brother’s name. They also like the alliteration of my first and middle names.

PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: Wishing you a love for life! Work hard and live a happy, healthy life with faith, respect, curiosity and positivity.

SOMETHING SPECIAL: Nearly two weeks after your due date you came into the world quickly! Mommy barely made it to the hospital, as your head was crowning in the parking lot after only 1-1/2 hours of labor!
