Student of the Week: Faith Carlson of Cloquet Middle School

Name: Faith Carlson

School: Cloquet Middle School

Grade: Eight

Parents: Jeanette and Joel Carlson of Cloquet

What class are you most excited about this year: Math because it’s fun, and you get to learn different things.

What sports are you involved in? Basketball and swimming.

What has been your best experience in life so far? Spending time with my family.

What is something most people at school don’t know about you? I like to sing songs from the radio.

What do you like or dislike the most about Facebook? People talking about other people.

Anything else you would like to share? My basketball team is like a family to me, and I hope we play well this year.

Why nominated? Ann Gustafson, DCD Teacher, wrote, “I chose Faith as ‘Student of the Week’ because she demonstrates all the positive qualities that a teacher would like to see in a student. Faith works hard in her school work to the best of her ability. She is also in swimming and basketball. Even when she is tired or injured, she rarely complains. Faith has a positive attitude and a kind, helpful character.”
