Eh? Dog bites woman

Did your pooch bite a woman running at Hartley Nature Center last week, or do you know the dog’s owner?

The woman’s parents would like to know so they can find out whether the dog in question has been vaccinated. The alleged incident occurred about 9:30 a.m. Thursday when their 23-year-old daughter was running past a 40- to 50-year-old woman playing with a black and white border collie named Izzy, according to the runner’s parents.

The runner went to a Duluth hospital and is receiving rabies shots, her parents said.
