I WAS BORN: Sept. 6, 2012, in St. Luke’s hospital in Duluth.

MY PARENTS ARE: Jesse and Danielle Tuomi of Superior.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Glen and Pam Merrier of Duluth and John and Carol Tuomi of Superior.

MY GREAT-GRANDPARENTS ARE: Dan and Pat Nilsen and Ted and Gerri Merrier, all of Duluth; Irene Moretto and Willie and Harriet Tuomi, all of Superior; and the late Oliver Moretto.

MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: I am named after my late great-great-grand-mothers Signe Nilsen and Genevieve Wiskerchen. Also, my mommy’s middle name is Signe and my great-auntie’s name is Genevieve.

PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: Love with your whole heart. Be patient and kind. Always be true to yourself. Know that you filled our lives with a love we could never imagine and we love you unconditionally.

SOMETHING SPECIAL: Daddy knew you were a girl and kept the secret from Mommy until you arrived! You had to come four weeks early, but you were healthy and wide-eyed, ready to meet all of us who love you. Your cousin Brayley sang you “ Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” as you stared at her through the nursery glass.
