Do you have more ornaments than tree?

Here’s the perfect solution: Share your extras to help make the homes of flood victims festive.

Catholic Charities USA and the Diocese of Duluth are heading a Christmas Decoration Drive. Like most folks, many flood victims kept their Christmas decorations in the basement, the Duluth Diocese tells us.

You’re asked to drop off your donations before Friday to one of the following sites:

  • Holy Family Church, 2430 W. Third St. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. Enter through the office doors at 25th Avenue West and Third Street. Collection bins will be near the main entrance of the church by the bell.

  • Northeastern Minnesota Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, 1105 E. Superior St. Call (218) 724-4424 for office hours.

  • Vineyard Church, 1533 W. Arrowhead Road. Call (218) 525-3462 for office hours.
