Donald and Rita Myntti of Duluth celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with an open house in Duluth.

Donald and the former Rita Beron were married Nov. 26, 1947, in St. Rose Catholic Church in Proctor.

Their children are Dr. Cynthia Myntti and Dr. Norbert Hirschhorn of London and Beirut, Lebanon; Valerie Myntti and Frank Sherman of Rochester, N.Y.; Andrea Myntti and Michael Groom of Athens, Texas; Charles Myntti of Boise, Idaho; and Laura Myntti and Leif Selkregg of River Forest, Ill. They have seven grandchildren.

Donald is a retired miner. Rita is an author who writes under her maiden name.
