Reader’s view: Tea Party is leading Republicans into extinction
The Republican Party and the tail that wags the dog, the Tea Party, is soon to become extinct, much to my delight. The real conservatives had better become the dog that wags the tail again or suffer the wrath of constituents.

This raises the question: How many Republicans would have signed on to being fiscally responsible with a pledge of balancing the budget rather than not raising taxes?
The Republican Party has become the party of pollution, refusin’, delusion, seclusion, intrusion and general suffrage. The Democratic Party is all about inclusion and always has been. When it comes to basic human rights, the Republicans could use a transfusion.
I also just love the glaring ambiguity of cable’s Fox News Channel. I’m sure it’s just coincidence that Rupert Murdock, who is worth more than $8 billion, heads up the ownership of this broadcaster.
