Nicole Strapple and Peter Pavlovich, both of Hermantown, plan to be married June 15 in St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Duluth.
Her parents are Sue Strapple and Tom and Elyse Strapple, all of Hermantown. His parents are Mike and MaryJo Pavlovich of Side Lake.
The future bride, a 2004 graduate of Hermantown High School, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing. She is a clinical informatics analyst at Essentia Health in Duluth.
The future groom, a 2001 graduate of Chisholm High School, graduated from Trade School for Local 11 with an apprenticeship. He is a master plumber in Minnesota and Wisconsin, and an owner/partner of P&R Plumbing and Heating Inc. in Duluth.
Sunset proposal
While on a bike trip to the Black Hills in South Dakota, Pete pulled over to take a few pictures, but I was reluctant and tired of taking pictures. He finally got me to get off the bike and got down on one knee. It was absolutely perfect with the Black Hills all around us and the sun setting!
