Sam Cook scored a touchdown when he wrote about the lady who went to Africa to shoot game birds (Sam Cook column: “Travels impart changed world view,”
Oct. 12).
All of a sudden he told of the misery of the African people, which is a most sensitive story. God bless Sam Cook. He’s a keeper in that he shoots straight from the heart.
