Marv and Bev Melanson 60th wedding anniversary

Marv and Bev Melanson of Saginaw will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house Saturday, Oct. 27, from 1-3:30 p.m. at Midway Town Hall.

Marv and Bev Melanson of Saginaw will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house Saturday, Oct. 27, from 1-3:30 p.m. at Midway Town Hall. Cake and coffee will be served. No invitations sent and no gifts, please.

Marv and the former Bev Towers were married Nov. 22, 1952, in Carlton.

Their children are Lynda and Gary Lund of Avon, Minn.; Kenny and Jane Melanson of Duluth; Sue and Dave Lysdahl of Superior; and Connie and Tom Semmelroth of Duluth. They have 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one on the way.

Marv is retired from Marv’s Amoco in Her­mantown. Bev is retired from Starvin Marvin’s Restaurant in Hermantown.
