Wyatt Jay Seeley
I WAS BORN: June 6, 2012, in St. Luke’s hospital in Duluth.
MY PARENTS ARE: Heather and Ryan Seeley of Duluth.
MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Pam and John Hyopponen, Jay and Amy Sparks and Todd and Mary Seeley, all of Duluth.
MY GREAT-GRANDPARENTS ARE: Tauno Hyopponen of Two Harbors; Eileen Langlee and Helen Budisalovich, both of Duluth; Theresa La-Flamme of Superior; and the late Adolph and Bernice Stadler, Jerry and Jessica Sparks, Penner Hyopponen, Louis Budisalovich and “Red” Seeley.
MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: Mommy and Daddy had two names picked out for months, neither of which were Wyatt. The weekend before I was born they watched the movie “Tombstone” and the name Wyatt stuck in Daddy’s head. The day I was born the first thing he said to Mommy after returning from delivery was “He’s a Wyatt!” I got my middle name from “G-pa.”
PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: May you live your life with your heart wide open, have faith in yourself and always chase your dreams.
SOMETHING SPECIAL: Wyatt shares his birthday with his late cousin Randi, who left this world a bit too soon. We know she was watching down on him that day and she will always be with him as his guardian angel.
