I WAS BORN:v Aug. 22, 2012, in Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth.

MY PARENTS ARE: Alexa and Charlie Byrnes of Silver Bay.

MY SISTER IS: London, 16 months.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Dale and Diana Larson of Hermantown and Tom and Shelly Byrnes of Silver Bay.

MY GREAT-GRANDPARENTS ARE: Ruth Johnson of Hermantown; Elanore Larson of Silver Bay; Ken and Shirley Nelson of Finland; Larry Byrnes of Silver Bay; and the late Bob Johnson, Howard Larson and Charlene Byrnes.

MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: They had a tough time picking out a first name for me, they didn’t agree on anything! Once they found Nash, they loved it and stuck with it. My middle names are taken from both my late great-grandpas on my mommy’s side. Mom tells me they would have thought I was the coolest little guy.

PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: Grow to be the person you want to be. Love that person, be respectful, and be confident in who you are. If you can do that, you can do anything.

SOMETHING SPECIAL: I had a scheduled birthday, Aug. 27, but I had something else in mind. After 14 hours of labor, they decided to deliver me. At almost four in the morning, Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma and Grandpa Larson were waiting for me.
