ROSEMARY HARCH ROWELL

Rosemary Harch Rowell passed away peacefully on Sept. 24, 2012 in her apartment at Presbyterian Homes North Oaks.

She was born Aug. 14, 1925 the daughter of John and Jeanette (Gibson) Harch.

Graduated from Roosevelt High School in Virginia, Minn., class of 1942 and the University of Minnesota. Rosemary married Byron George Rowell in 1948.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Byron; and daughter, Mary Segog Dean.

Rosemary is survived by four children, Kathryn Hahne (James) of White Bear Lake, Minn., Dr. Byron Rowell (Luann) of Grand Rapids, Minn., Martha Nordmann (Brian) of Eden Prairie, Minn., and Dwight Rowell (Siobhan) of Laramie, Wyo.; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer Dean (Sarah Swedock), Lisa Crosby (Tim), Allison Rothstein (Terry), Jim Hahne Jr., Sara Hahne, Kristin Rowell, Stephanie Keppler (Harley), Lindsay Bednar (Gary), Brian Nordmann Jr., and Rebecca Freise (Adam); four great grandchildren, sisters, Jane Weber of Little Falls, Minn., and Kay Ewens (Don) of Stillwater, Minn.

She and her husband, Byron in their 50+ years of marriage enjoyed many outdoor activities in northern Minnesota.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 at Waverly Gardens Chapel 5919 Centerville Road North Oaks, Minn. Memorials preferred to the Virginia Foundation or the charity of donor’s choice.
