What brought you to the Twin Ports?
I was born and raised in Superior. I went away for college with intentions of coming back to work with my father in the insurance and financial services industry after graduating.
What do you like to do during your free time?
I love spending time with my family. Our little guy keeps me very busy! Our families both have cabins, so that is always a nice little getaway.
Describe your favorite place in the Twin Ports
I love walking or biking on the Millennium Trail in Superior. It is beautiful and close to our home, so it is a perfect place to get some exercise.
What do you like most about the Northland?
My clientele consists of many family members, friends and acquaintances. On a daily basis, it is a pleasure and honor to be able to assist and guide people I have great relationships with. In addition, it is such a comfort knowing both of our families are in the area. They have always been incredibly loving and supportive.
How can the Northland retain younger people?
Like many other communities, an increase in new companies and higher-paying jobs. In addition, embracing the current opportunities and building on it.
Who or what has made the biggest impact on your life?
My father has been the biggest influence on my professional life. Growing up, he had always demonstrated his love for the industry . I have always been inspired by his work ethic, humility and passion to make a difference in clients’ lives.
What are you most passionate about?
I absolutely love working with different people on a daily basis. Being able to educate clients and come up with different strategies to tailor to their specific needs is beyond rewarding. It constantly keeps me on my toes to further my own education. I love being able to solve problems today, yet help clients prepare for the future.
Personally, I am extremely passionate about raising our son to the best of my ability. I hope he grows up with respect, understanding and love for others. I put my faith in God, and pray that He will assist me in my continued balance of work and family.
How have social and business networking sites changed your life?
We have a company website, eisenmannandassociates.com. We don’t use any networking sites for business.
What is your biggest accomplishment?
I am the most proud of being the immediate past president of our local Lake Superior NAIFA Chapter (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors). Also, being a member of the Million Dollar Round Table. Lastly, being able to juggle my profession and motherhood. It has been challenging but has increased my efficiency and effectiveness indefinitely.
What goals have you set for the next 5-10 years?
I hope my career continues to grow. In addition, we will have started the transition of the business ownership from my father to me. Personally, I wish our family has continued good health and happiness and hopefully has grown in size.
What advice would you give other young people?
Find what you are passionate about, and follow your dreams. The area is surrounded by people who truly care and want young people to succeed in our community. A mentor is a great point of reference and can be a huge asset in regards to obtaining your goal. Being a smaller community, business and personal lives can easily overlap. It is so important to be involved and recognize the power of relationships.
