Her parents are John and Diane Strongitharm of Duluth. His parents are Steve and Barbara Schuyler of Solon Springs.

The future bride graduated from Denfeld High School in Duluth in 2001. She is a cashier at Super One Foods in Duluth.

The future groom graduated from Solon Springs High School in 2001. He is a master control operator at KQDS Fox 21.
