Vearl and Bette Nelson 60th wedding anniversary

Vearl and Bette Nelson of Green Valley, Ariz., will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house at their home later this year.

Vearl and Bette Nelson of Green Valley, Ariz., will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house at their home later this year.

Vearl and the former Bette Gibeau were married Aug. 16, 1952, in Milwaukee.

Their children are Nancy Engel of Champlin, Minn.; Cherie Rozier of Bayfield; Lisa Klonne of Greenfield, Minn.; Mark Nelson of Crystal, Minn.; Scott Nelson of San Diego; and the late Peggy Nelson. They have 10 grandchildren.
