Alena Pekkarinen and Kevin Hull, both of Duluth, plan to be married Saturday in Leif Erikson Park in Duluth.

Alena Pekkarinen and Kevin Hull, both of Duluth, plan to be married Saturday in Leif Erikson Park in Duluth.
Her parents are Ron and Debbie Pekkarinen of Virginia. His parents are Jim and Karen Hull of Hoyt Lakes.
The future bride, a 2004 graduate of Virginia Secondary School, is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in social work at the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
The future groom, a 2004 graduate of Mesabi East High School in Aurora, graduated from Lake Superior College in Duluth in 2007. He is employed at Minnesota Power in Duluth.
