Laura Mikkelson and Aaron Soderlund, both of Hermantown, plan to be married Aug. 24 in Peace in Christ Lutheran Church in Hermantown.
Her parents are Randy and Michelle Mikkelson of Benson, Minn. His parents are Ward and Crystal Soderlund of Duluth.
The future bride, a 2006 graduate of Benson High School, graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies. She is a marketing consultant at Midwest Communications in Duluth.
The future groom, a 2003 graduate of Duluth Central High School, graduated from North Dakota State University in Fargo in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is a project engineer at Krech Ojard and Associates in Duluth.
