Estimated cost: $7.7 million
Type of development: Affordable family housing, 40 multi-bedroom apartments.
Target market: Working families earning between $20,000 and $39,000 a year.
Estimated completion: 12 apartments in the original firehouse should be available in December 2012. Another 28 apartments in a new structure should be ready for occupancy in January 2013.
