The Western Lake Superior Sanitary District’s free emergency flood debris removal program is entering its final week.
All material to be collected must be on the curb by Thursday this week to ensure it will be picked up, although some locations may not actually see pickup until July 19.
The emergency debris removal program is provided in Duluth, Hermantown, Proctor, Rice Lake Township, Lakewood, Canosia, Grand Lake, Duluth Township, Solway Township and Midway Township. The program is for flood-related debris only and must be separated into electronics, large appliances, vegetative debris and bulky household debris.
