With numerous Duluth intersections flooded, Duluth police are asking people not to drive except in emergencies.
“We want all traffic to be emergency only,” said Lt. Jeff Kazel just before 10 p.m.
Kazel said flash flooding has affected several areas in town, including Grand Avenue at Raleigh Street, the entrances to Morgan Park, Commonwealth and Stowe Street, Hugo Avenue and Myrtle Street, 8200 E. Superior St., and Kenwood Avenue and Buffalo Street.
“There are 3 or 4 inches on the road making it very hazardous, and we’re expecting more rain,” Kazel said.
