Brooke Johnson of Bismarck, N.D., and Matthew Settergren of Hermantown, were married Oct. 15 in Sharon Lutheran Church in Grand Forks, N.D.

Brooke Johnson of Bismarck, N.D., and Matthew Settergren of Hermantown, were married Oct. 15 in Sharon Lutheran Church in Grand Forks, N.D.
Her parents are Kara Johnson and Rob Johnson, both of Bismarck. His parents are Kim and Eric Settergren of Hermantown.
The bride chose her sister, Lauren Johnson, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jordan Adolf, Claire Bossert, Carlie Hougen and Mallory Krabbenhoft.
The groom chose his brother, Thomas Settergren, as best man. Groomsmen were Rob Bremer, Tom DesMarais, Nick Patterson and Jake Renier.
The bride, a 2006 graduate of Century High School in Bismarck, graduated from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in biology and is a third-year medical student at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine.
The groom, a 2005 graduate of Hermantown High School, graduated from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is a civil engineer at Kadramas, Lee and Jackson Inc. in Grand Forks.
