MEMORABLE MOMENT: Koskela, Bianconi wedding

Erin Koskela of Esko and Andrew Bianconi of Chisholm were married Nov. 2 in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Her parents are Paul and Terry Koskela of Esko. His parents are Tom and Chris Bianconi of Chisholm.

The bride chose Kate Helland as maid of honor. Kelly Bonk was bridesmaid.

The groom chose his brother, Ryan Bianconi, as best man. Brandyn Kruchowski was groomsman.

The bride, a 2000 graduate of Lincoln High School in Esko, graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in marketing and organizational management. She is the office assistant for the Spay/Neuter Program at Animal Allies Humane Society in Duluth.

The groom, a 2001 graduate of Chisholm High School, graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in physics, mathematics and statistics and actuarial sciences. He is a furniture craftsman at Loll Designs in Duluth.

Breaking waves provide perfect music

The weather was perfect -- warm and just breezy enough to be not too hot. Everyone at the resort was congratulating us on our way to the pier where the small ceremony was going to take place. We felt like royalty!

We got to the wedding site, which was a small gazebo on the pier over the ocean, and said our vows to the sounds of the waves rolling onto the shore. Afterwards, during our first kiss as husband and wife, everyone from the beach cheered for us! It was amazing!
