Eh? Twin Cities food reviewer gets icy welcome in Duluth

Uh-oh, Duluth servers. One of you committed the sort of faux pas usually saved for sketch comedy: You doused Dear Dara.

Mpls. St. Paul magazine’s food reviewer Dara Moskowitz Grumdahl shared this on her Facebook page Friday afternoon: “Bullseye! Never in my long and occasionally vicious history of restaurant reviewing has anyone actually dumped a tray of ice water on me. Duluth for the win!”

Guess we’ll have to wait a few months to find out which restaurant gave her the chilly welcome. Depending on the review, your boss might thank you.

Speaking of chilly…

Well, chili, in this case. We’re sure everyone will get much better service today when the Human Services Program at Mesabi Range Community & Technical College hosts a chili feed fundraiser in Gilbert.

The chili will be dished out from 2-6 p.m. at the Gilbert VFW, 224 N. Broadway. A bowl of chili is $7 for adults, $4 for kids.

All proceeds will go toward helping the Salvation Army in Virginia replace its kitchen.

We welcome your submissions and suggestions. Drop us a line at Eh ?, Duluth News Tribune newsroom, 424 W. First St., Duluth, MN 55802, or news@duluth news.com.
