Woodland Hills announces directors of 2012

Woodland Hills announced that Xavier Bell, George Goldfarb and Leanne Joynes joined its Board of Directors.

Woodland Hills announced that Xavier Bell, George Goldfarb and Leanne Joynes joined its Board of Directors. Bell is the director of community engagement at Community Action Duluth, Goldfarb is the president of Maurices, and Joynes is the vice president of sales and marketing at ZMC Hotels.

Officers of the 2012 board of directors are: Chairperson Sandy Hoff, F.I. Salter Co.; Vice Chairperson Phil Strom, retired business executive; and Treasurer Dean Casperson, Service Printers of Duluth, Inc. Directors of the board include: Laura Budd, retired businesswoman; Ann Glumac, Glumac Executive Enterprise; Jim Gustafson, Chester Creek Technologies, Inc.; Peg Johnson, retired police lieutenant; Doug Lewis, North Shore Bank of Commerce; Adolph Ojard, Duluth Seaway Port Authority; Greg Sandbulte, AMSOIL, Inc.; Mark Schober, ALLETE, Inc.; Melissa Swor, National Title, Inc.; and Natalie Zeleznikar, Keystone Bluffs and Diamond Willow. All are committed champions for children.

Woodland Hills is a private nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering, healing and teaching responsibility to children and adolescents from throughout Minnesota. The multifaceted agency provides a continuum of services for young people, ranging from an afterschool program for marginalized youth, to mental health and behavioral treatment programs in school and residential settings, to a semi-independent living skills program for adolescents aging out of systems of care.
