Harley Dave Prihoda, 57, died on March 13, 2012 at Rochester Methodist Hospital/ Mayo Clinic while waiting for a liver transplant.
Harley was born in Duluth, on Feb. 20, 1955.
He graduated from Morgan Park High School in 1973. He married Linda Joy Streed on April 17, 1981. Together, they had three beautiful daughters; Kelsey, Ashley and Jessica. Harley was a Heavy Equipment Operator and member of I.U.O.E. Local 49 who worked for many years at Nels Nelson and Sons and, most recently, Northland Constructors. Harley loved being outdoors spending time fishing and hunting. Harley was a wonderful father who was devoted to his children and so very proud of the wonderful young women they have become.
Harley was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Prihoda.
Harley is survived by his wife Linda of Foxboro, Wis.; three daughters, Kelsey (Ryan Satter) of Superior, Ashley and Jessica of Foxboro; his mother, Gloria (Emil) Kreifels of Gurnsey, Wyo.; his siblings Susan Hofstedt of Superior, Dennis (Lori) of Paige, Texas, Randy of Superior and Brenda (Larry) Starkes of Austin, Texas; as well as many special nieces and nephews, cousins, in-laws, co-workers and friends.
Eighteen Americans die every day because they don't have an organ donor. April is Organ Donation Month and Harley's family encourages everyone to consider becoming an organ donor.
SERVICE: 10 a.m. Monday, March 19, in Cremation Society of Minnesota. With a visitation one hour prior.
