Guess who provided pastries for the weekly coffee gathering in Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s office last week in Washington?
It was Duluth’s own Twig Bakery.
Klobuchar has been serving Minnesota treats at her Thursday morning gatherings for a few years. She says she does her
research whenever she’s back in Minnesota, where she often is invited to taste the local favorites.
“Twig Bakery is a great example of a homemade Minnesota business, the kind that keeps our communities strong and vibrant,” Klobuchar said in a prepared pastry statement. “I was proud to offer their treats to our guests.”
Next time you’re in D.C. on a Thursday, you can get in on a Minnesota Morning coffee session by calling Klobuchar’s office at (202) 224-3244. Visit her website for info: klobuchar.senate.gov.
