Eh? Hugs, not old drugs

Face it: You’re just not going to use up that 10-year-old bottle of antibiotics hiding in the corner of your medicine cabinet.

Get rid of it free of charge during the Western Lake Superior Sanitary District’s free collection event, “Medicine Cabinet Clean-Out Day.” Disposing the unwanted medications during the day is the safest, most convenient and environmentally sound way possible. The event is being held 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at the Household Hazardous Waste Facility, 2626 Courtland St. in Duluth.
