Skip and Joan Bourman 50th wedding anniversary

Skip and Joan Bourman of Duluth will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at their daughter's home, 5648 Christianson Road, Duluth.

Skip and Joan Bourman of Duluth will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at their daughter's home, 5648 Christianson Road, Duluth.

Skip and the former Joan Gerard were married Sept. 2, 1961, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Duluth.

Their children are Penny (Frank) Ostrander, Mike (Nikki) Bourman and Kris (Kim) Bourman, all of Duluth. They have five grandchildren.

Skip is retired from Hendenberg Construction in Duluth. Joan is a homemaker.
