Hartley Nature Center rents snowshoes for use inside its park.
Hartley Nature Center rents snowshoes for $10 per day for nonmembers, $5 per day for members. They're available in pre-school through adult sizes. With the recent low temperatures, Hartley Pond has about 8 inches of ice, thick enough to hike across. (Check inside the center for current conditions if you go.) Equipment must be used inside the park and returned the same day.
