The second day of Scanlon’s weekend-long party to support our troops will be held at the city’s community center, 2801 Dewey Ave. Scheduled events: breakfast from 9 to 10:30 a.m.; car show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; barbecue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; carnival games from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and a walk in memory of fallen troops at 11 a.m. Prices TBA; proceeds go to care packages for the troops.
