Crafters needed

St. James Catholic Church, 721 N. 57th Ave. W., will be hosting a bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 23. Tables can be rented for $20. Call 624-0828.

Free kids club

First Presbyterian Church, 300 E. Second St., will host a free club for kids ages 4 to 12 (parents welcome) from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call 722-1745.

Neighborhood picnic

Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, 2701 W. Third St., will host a neighborhood picnic in conjunction with Neighborhood Night Out from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the church parking lot. There will be pony rides and a moonwalk for the children, live music and door prizes. Hotdogs, chips, watermelon and ice cream will be served. All ages are welcome and there is no cost to attend. Bible School

Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, 2701 W. Third St., will host Vacation Bible School for children ages 4 to fourth grade Aug. 16-20 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the church. Admission is free and dinner will be served for the children each night. For more, contact the church office at 727-4980.

Third Wednesdays

On the third Wednesday of each month, Concordia Lutheran Church is hosting a community event called “Food, Fellowship and Fun.” The event begins with a summer meal at 6 p.m. for a donation of $3/person ($12 family maximum). After the meal, join in on a variety of activities, including soccer, crafts, games and a time of fellowship.

Hope United Methodist Church is looking for crafters and artists for a show to be held Oct. 30. Call 724-2266 or e-mail office@hopeumcmn.org if you’d like to share your wares.
