The Lake Superior Zoo hosts Earth Tracks on Friday, May 7 and Saturday, May 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Friday will feature shows by the Toonies puppets at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and natural tie-dying of t-shirts. Awards will be given in the recycled sculpture contest.
On Saturday, the first 100 families will get a reusable tote bag. There will be a climbing wall (additional cost is $5 for two climbs), and artist Jim Ramsdell will show off his solar-powered trailer, where he creates works out of basswood.
An environmental scavenger hunt will be passed out on both days to enjoy as you walk the zoo grounds. Vendors include WLSSD, Hawk Ridge, Great Lakes Aquarium, Sea Grant and many more.
