Stetson wins Hudson Bay sled dog race
Duluth musher John Stetson won the Hudson Bay Quest sled dog race, which started March 27 at Churchill and ran for 250 miles to a former fur-trading post and back to Churchill.
"It's a pretty grueling race -- glare ice, overflow, cold temps and polar bear tracks," wrote Nancy Moundalexis of Ely, who accompanied Stetson to Churchill.
